Habib Nasibdar is Senior Program and Account Manager at Enlightened, Inc. a business and software consulting company based in Washington D.C. Nasibdar’s leadership, technology acumen, commitment to innovation, and business driven solutions approach has resulted in development of frameworks, products, technology practices, and commercialization of various Enlightened, Inc’s service offerings.
In the year 2005, Nasibdar was appointed as a Senior Program Manager to oversee Enlightened’s state and local government programs delivery and development. One of the many successful initiatives under Nasibdar’s leadership is District of Columbia’s Justice Information Sharing Program (JUSTIS), enabling police officers, the federal and local court systems, and other law enforcement agencies to have an integrated solution to reduce crime in the nation’s capital. While managing JUSTIS, Nasibdar collaborated with more than 22 federal and city agencies and executed integration of more than 70 different systems. Under Nasibdar’s leadership in the year 2007, JUSTIS was awarded as one of the best information sharing system in the nation by the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) - American Council of Technology (ACT) as part of their Excellence.Gov awards series. Following JUSTIS success, Nasibdar created Enlightened’s information sharing product portfolio and currently leads the public safety information sharing and document management practice. Nasibdar has successfully improved the bottom-line of Enlightened and was instrumental in positioning, shaping, responding, and maintaining more than $15 million pipeline with approximately $3 million in realized business.
Currently at Enlightened, Nasibdar continues to successfully advise various federal and state and local Chief Information Officers (CIO’s), Chief Technology Officers (CTO’s), Directors, and Executives on Program Management (PM), Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), national standards for privacy, data sharing (National Information Exchange Model – NIEM and Global Justice XML data Model -GJXDM), cyber security, policy formulation, and many other federal and state guidelines and industry best practices.
Previously Nasibdar was instrumental in management and execution of IT Program Strategy for Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) initiative for U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) under Department of Defense (DoD). He has also supported Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marines to effectively report on Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI) to the Office of Secretary of Defense, enabling OSD to measure the effectiveness of military services in achieving privatized military housing objectives.
A certified Project Management Professional, Nasibdar holds a Masters degree in Project Management from the George Washington School of Business (GWSB) of the George Washington University in Washington D.C. and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai, India. Nasibdar enjoys golf and currently resides in Arlington VA with his wife.
