Report from the PM Trenches in the Crisis Age

PMs are feeling the pressure as budget and resource constraints impact project baselines while demands for improved results, and ever more rigorous accounting and reporting also increase. Wider adoption of automated PM tools are helping to close some of the gap, but fear and intertia-driven reluctance within organizations to accept new approaches and technologies is slowing the uptake of pressure-relieving process and technology improvements. Mr. Hallett, Director of Program Management Support Services and Asst. VP for Corporate Outreach for PMI-WDC will share his perspectives on emerging trends in project and program management in federal contracting.
